The conference dinner will take place at the end of the conference’s first day (4th December) in one of the most improbable places of Lisbon cultural life Fábrica Braço de Prata.
A manufacturer of weapons during the dark years of dictatorship in Portugal, this long-disused factory complex was reborn as Lisbon’s most ambitious cultural venue. Guns and grenades were replaced by concert rooms, exhibition spaces, a sprawling bookstore, a cinema, a restaurant and various bars. Its diverse offerings encompass everything from electronic music to philosophical conferences or free jazz.
